WARRIOR 175 EXPORT
Not long after the 175 was launched in 2001 we produced a derivitive called the 175 Export, as the name suggests this model was only exported, usualy to scandinavian countries for light commercial use, and more recently to the Bella Vista hotel in Cork, Ireland as hire boats.
As the prices of raw materials continued to climb, and this boat has a lot, we decided to introduce the Export to the general public because savings could be made as the specification is more basic, just like a bigger 165. No frills, no fuss, just a well built boat with lots of room.
Features
The hull is the same as the 175 and is made up of multiple layers of woven roving, sandwiched between layers of chopped strand matt. It is further strengthend by chemically bonding in a ' matix ' moulding, this not only provides a separate bouyancy chamber but strengthens the boat in line with the trailer rollers. A plywood floor and front seat moulding is then fibre glassed in, this has then created a secondary bouyancy chamber.
The floor is fully self-draining, this means there is little chance of swamping. Excess water is dealt with by twin scuppers fitted into the transom of the boat, this is the safest type of hull to venture offshore.
Inside the cuddy the seating moulding has storage on both sides with addition pockets, handy for extra life jackets, mooring ropes ect. The steering console is larger allowing for a range of electronics to be fitted. The console can also house the engine battery, isolator switch, rev counter and trim guage if required, with a water resistant switch panel as standard.
The 175 Export is fitted with driver and passenger folding seats mounted via swivels to storage compartments. The folding seats can be upgraded to bucket seat if required. With all the storage on the 175 Export the floor remains uncluttered, leaving space for live wells or even bottle racks. A rear seat can be added to turn the 175 Export into a real family affair providing storage for wet suits, water skis or even an inflatable towing ring.
The internal free board, like all the warrior range is generous, so with youngsters on board you can relax in the knowledge that they are safe and will stay on board.
